Extensive experience and high achievement in standardised tests in primary / middle school (eg. Australian schools science/maths/english competitions, scholarship tests) Consistent high performance on exams & essays. Experience providing teaching/guidance in diverse fields - laboratory techniques, science theory, irish dancing, musical instrument teaching. I also teach / demonstrate labs at the University of Edinburgh I can tutor specific biology subjects as well as philosophy and general writing/exam technique etc. at university level, and welcome inquiries about any of the other subjects listed at high school level.

Hobbies
I'm a keen musician and am taking a break before pursuing a long-term academic/science career to focus on this for a while. I play mainly guitar & bouzouki / mandolin, but also flute and some dabbling on drums. Have organised gigs and a short international tour for my folk band. Other hobbies - reading/writing (mostly fantasy / some sci fi), occasional gaming when I find time.
